Development of Conceptual Design, Dynamic Analysis  Theory and Model Experiment of Submerged Floating Tunnels

Abstract:

In order to lean the conceptual design progress of submerged floating tunnel (SFT) and further clear the dynamic simulation analysis and research direction of model experiment for the interaction between environmental load and SFT structure, firstly, the survey of engineering researches about SFT in different countries are summarized; and then the experimental progress of SFT tube section, cable dynamics simulation, and wave and ocean current model are analyzed respectively. The analytical results show that the key parameters of SFT is the coordinated floating weight ratio, which covers the relationship among the structure tension, the configuration of leg anchor cables, the angle of inclination,the ratio of floating weight and the horizontal and vertical amplitudes of SFT. The investigation of comprehensive parameters is helpful to the study of normalized variation law of the structural natural frequency and the tension level of the bracing system. The SFT model experiment of wave flow coupling, fluidsolid coupling and dynamic water combined with hydrostatic water in large wave pools in deep water is the future research direction.
