Research and Development of Shield/TBMdedicated Vibration Monitoring Sensor VMBOX

Abstract:

The traditional shield/TBM adopts conventional handheld vibrator for vibration monitoring, and requires professional technicians to regularly monitor the equipment to obtain vibration data. The continuous vibration data of the equipment cannot be obtained, thus rational analysis and prognosis for equipment status cannot be carried out to effectively guide equipment management. In this paper, logic control method and signal screening technology are used to develop a shield/TBMdedicated vibration monitoring sensor that can be installed on the key components of the shield/TBM to collect the vibration and temperature data during working process. It implements the functions as follows: (1) remote realtime online monitoring of equipment vibration data; (2) detailed management of equipment failure; (3) prediction of equipment development trends.
