Abstract:

The drilling and blasting method for tunnel has many disadvantages such as low mechanization, bad construction environment and high labor intensity. Hence, the large crosssection construction technologies for Hubei Section on ZhengzhouWanzhou Highspeed Railway are summarized from the aspects of theoretical research, mechanized matching equipments, and construction technology and informatized system application. The technologies adopted include: (1) The construction idea of collapse load is changed into deformation control design. (2) The construction method of stepped excavation and bench method are changed into large crosssection and fullsection method. (3) The primary support and advance prereinforcement are strengthened by changing hollow grouting anchor bole by low prestressed expansion anchor bolt and using earlystrengthened shotcrete with high strength. (4) Multiboom rock drilling jumbo is adopted. (5) The single process mechanized construction is changed into whole process mechanized matching. (6) The information platform is established to carry out construction management. A series of technologies for safe, rapid and standardized large crosssection mechanized tunnel construction is obtained, which can promote the tunnel construction and management level.
