Abstract:
In this paper, the largest diameter slurry balance shield used in Tsinghua Yuan Tunnel in Beijing is taken as an example to study the variation laws of shield parameters driving in interbedded strata of pebble, sand and silty clay by mathematical statistics method. The study results show that: (1) The cutterhead torque and shield thrust force vary little when slurry balance shield driving in silty clay area. (2) The cutterhead torque and shield thrust force increase by 46.43% and 46.03% respectively when slurry balance shield driving in complex interbedded strata comparing to shield driving in silty clay area; the fluctuation of cutterhead torque when slurry balance shield driving in complex interbedded strata is different from that when driving in silty clay area, and the fluctuation of shield thrust force when slurry balance shield driving in complex interbedded strata is similar to that when driving in silty clay area.
Key words: shield tunnel, largediameter slurry balance shield, complex interbedded strata, driving parameters, cutterhead torque, shield thrust force
