Design Concept and Implementation Path for Badaling Great Wall Station of BeijingZhangjiakou Highspeed Railway

Abstract: Badaling Great Wall Station of BeijingZhangjiakou Highspeed Railway is the first deepburied underground tunnel group station completely excavated by the drillandblast method in China. Its design concept, method and content are different from conventional metro stations, aboveground railway stations and shallowburied opencut or coverandcut urban railway stations. In order to adapt to the unique geographical location, cultural environment and HJ5mmburied depth of Badaling Great Wall Station and improve the safety, applicability, environmental protection and cultural nature of the station, the design concept of "More secure, More humane, More environmentfriendly, and More durable" was established for the station, which guides the whole process of route selection, site selection, overall scheme design, disaster prevention and rescue, support system design, construction technology and equipment selection as the core idea. By adopting safer layout of tunnel group and streamline design, more humane selection of route and location, equipment and riding environment, more environmentfriendly drainage system, dust treatment and construction technology, more durable support system and lining structure, the design concept of the station has been implemented.
