Relationship Between Properties of TwoComponent Grout and Construction Schedule of Shield Tunnel in Waterrich Sandy Stratum

Abstract: To realize rapid construction of shield tunneling in waterrich sandy stratum, the twocomponent grout is applied to the construction of shield tunneling in waterrich sandy stratum in Suzhou. Based on the monitoring data of Suzhou metro line 5, the relationship between slurry gel time and shield driving speed is studied, the rational ranges of various parameters are selected, and a set of practical and feasible selection and mixing proportioning plan of the grout is put forward, realizing precise control of grout gel time within 100 s. The problems induced by singlecomponent grout such as segment floating, excessive settlement, and slow driving speed have been successfully avoided by twocomponent grout.
