Abstract

Abstract:

Taking Erputang tunnel on Tongsan national trunk highway as example, the article describes in detail the design and construction of largespanned arcade tunnel in poor geological conditions, and summarizes the experience in respect of layout of pilot tunnels,selection of construction schemes, keeping the stability of the central wall and waterproofing of the area on the top of the central wall, which can be used as reference for similar projects in the future.
