Abstract:

Nowadays the practice that large infrastructure projects are constructed by means of BOT mode is growing in China. On basis of the actual conditions of the construction of BOT highway projects, the article analyzes with emphasis the problems existing in the design, supervision and construction of the BOT projects. Furthermore, the article provides some suggestions such as placing special emphasis on design steps, introducing design supervision system, strengthening the control of the investment during design stages, improving the supervision system and some other countermeasures.
