Abstract:

The article presents the application of the finite element analysis program of ZRCAE1.1 in the research and development of shield tunnel boring machines and briefly describes the design process of the shell of the shield tunnel boring machine, with the emphasis being placed on the presentation on the methods of load analysis, 3d solid modeling, grid mesh division, acting load and restriction and posttreatment result analysis. Furthermore, the article also presents the knowhow of the 3d solid modeling, grid mesh division and loading and restriction.
