Abstract:

 On basis of the construction of Ciqikou～Chongwenmen running tunnel and Chongwenmen station of Beijing Metro, the article presents the schemes of the constructions in waterbearing sand layers for the intermediate temporary shaft and cross tunnel of the running tunnel and the southeast ventilation shaft and ventilation tunnel of Chongwenmen station. The article also presents the countermeasures for the prevention of water/sand inflow so as to avoid serious subsidence. The article emphasizes on the different dewatering measures taken according to different geological conditions.
