Slope Stability Analysis by means of FEM Strength Reduction Method

Abstract:

On basis of the strength reduction theory, the article makes analysis on the stability of slopes under different conditions and on the influence of different mesh dimensions and different constraint conditions on the accuracy of the calculations and makes simulations of the hard structural faces of slopes by means of ANSYS software, which leads to some useful conclusions.
