Abstract:
The mined section of Dongdan station on line 5 of Beijing Metro crosses underneath Chang'an street, where there exist concentrated underground utility lines and the thickness of ground between the mined section of Dongdan station and the structure of the existing line 1 of Beijing Metro is only 0.6m. Consolidation grouting is conducted for the soils near the existing running tunnel, prestressed rock bolts are installed inside the tunnel and pipe roof reinforcement and grouting are conducted, which ensures the successful construction of the mined section of Dongdan station that is located above the existing Dongdan~Wangfujing running tunnel of line 1 of Beijing Metro.
