Abstract:
On basis of the threedimensional analytical solution deducted by means of the upper bound principle of the limit analysis method, the article makes comparisons with the existing formulas specified in the relevant standards and makes relevant verification analysis by means of reliability theory. The research results of this article coincide well with those of the article published in the last issue of the magazine and they verify each other. The above achievements demonstrate that the design method based on the reliability theory has great practical significance and splendid prospects in the design of geotechnical works.
