Abstract:

The fundamental purpose of soft foundation treatment is to control the deformation of the foundation with the prerequisite condition that the strength of the foundation is guaranteed. On basis of the design and construction of HuangWan railway, the author presents the consolidation mechanisms, construction methods, construction process, construction control and quality inspection of the deep mixing method. The author also provides his suggestions and experience related to the deep mixing method.
