Abstract:

Today, the pursuit of saving cost and improving efficiency during the whole period from beginning heading to completion of project is the final aim of all underground construction contractors. The success of an entire tunnel project depends to some extent on the profile accuracy of the tunnel excavation. In the paper, the application of TMS Solution tunnel survey system in the construction of Uetliberg tunnel is described, which can provide useful reference for the contractors and supervisors in China to acquaint the technique of comprehesive tunnel survey  systems.
