Abstract:

In the paper, the construction program of Zhou'aodi underground passage is presented, with the emphasis being placed on the analysis and comparison of the separate bridge option and the shallowburied undercut tunnel option. The technical difficulties, construction periods, impacts on the construction of Wenzhou urbanbypass highway, construction costs and impacts on the safe operation of Jinliwen highway of the two options are considered comprehensively and it is recommended that the shallowburied undercut tunnel option should be adopted.
