Abstract:
The steering systems of wheeled project vehicles are required to be steered smoothly and free of wheel slide and wheel sideslip. The wheeled project vehicles usually have two types of steering systems, i.e., deflectionwheel steering system and integralcarriage steering system. In the paper, detailed kinematics and kinetics analysis is made for the two types of steering system, the application scopes of the two steering systems are provided and some technical countermeasures for the wheeled project vehicles with the two types of steering systems are recommended.
