Abstract:

On basis of the cracks on the segments manufactured in trials for Wuhan Yangtze River Crossing Tunnel Project, analysis is made on the causes for the cracks of the huge segments and countermeasures, such as optimizing the concrete mixing ratio, establishing standard steam curing procedures and performing strict technical control, are recommended in the paper.
