Abstract:

 In the paper, the development process of ECL (extruded concrete lining) method is presented, the features of ECL method are analyzed, the advantages and disadvantages of ECL method compared to the normal segment lining method are described, the construction differences between ECL method and the normal shield tunneling method are discussed and the problems and technical difficulties of ECL method are summarized.
