Abstract:

With the development of urban rail transit， shield tunneling method has achieved rapid development in Metro construction. With reference to the practice of engineering project， the author mainly elaborates the critical technology for EPB shield tunneling crossing Xinzaohai (510m) in Xiaoxin section of line 4 of Guangzhou Metro. The successful execution of this project could give reference for similar works crossing seas in the future.
