Abstract:

In the initial sinking stage of Datai vertical shaft, the blasting advance rate is not satisfactory. A set of deephole blasting parameters for deep vertical shaft sinking is obtained by optimization of the blasting agents, shothole lengths and cut manners. The optimized blasting parameters are applied in the shaft sinking and satisfactory results are achieved. The blasting advance rate is increased from the original 1.8~2.2m to 3.2~3.8m and the target completion date of Datai vertical shaft is guaranteed.
