Abstract:
The main issue that should be considered both in the design and construction of foundation pits in the urban environment is the controlling of the ground movement and the controlling of surrounding building settlement. The author makes a comparative analysis on the different deformation situations of the retaining structures and on the influence on the surrounding environment caused by excavation in dualstructure strata. This paper provides reference for the selection of the retaining structure parameters and the bracing types of opencut foundation pits in accordance with the geological conditions and the surrounding environment in the future.
