Abstract:

LieTan section of No. 5 Line of Guangzhou Metro, which is constructed by shield machine, crosses underneath Liedeyong Bridge, No. 18 underground passage and other structures. 19 foundation piles of No. 18 underground passage intrude into the tunnel. Manualcut borehole method is adopted on basis of comparison and contrast to demolish the foundation piles intruding into the tunnel, which guarantees the safety of the underground passage structure and the successful boring of the shield machine.
