Abstract:

Taking doubleshield TBM TB593E/TS used in Diversion of Datong River to Huangshui River Project in Qinghai as an example, the author introduces the technology and application condition of doubleshield TBM in this paper. Then, the author, based on the analysis of design defects in cutterheard, host machine, segment erection system and backup system, puts forward some suggestions on design and construction of doubleshield TBM. This paper can provide reference for the design and construction of doubleshield TBM in the future.
