Abstract: Soletanche Grouting Technology (SGT) is widely used and is recognized as one of the most reliable grouting methods, because it can better control the grouting scale and grouting pressure, can carry out iterative grouting and have less possibility of grout oozing out and grout leaking. In this paper, the authors, using numerical modeling and FLAC3D, simulate and analyze the mechanism of SGT, based on the design and construction of bridge pile consolidation in the waterrich and quicksand strata of ShangMing section on No.4 Line of Shenzhen Metro. The study shows that the optimal reinforcement scheme should be two rows of soletannche grouting stretching 6 meters below the tunnel bottom.
