Abstract:

Due to the construction situation and some other factors, it is difficult to apply blasting demolition for the cofferdam at the entrance and exit of the right diversion tunnel in Jinping  Stage I Hydropower Station. Scientific blasting design, advance risk analysis and strict safetyguaranteeing technology and management have ensured successful first and just once blasting and safe running of the hydropower station.
