Abstract:

PPS is the guidance system for most of the TBMs imported to China in recent years. In this paper, the working principle of PPS guidance system is presented, the operation procedures and cautions during the installation of PPS guidance system are summarized, the management contents and maintenance measures of PPS guidance system are proposed, the detection technology and troubleshooting techniques for failures, such as system installation malfunctions, limitexceeding survey errors, obstructed vision for total station survey and malfunction of ranging board of total station, are summarized, with TBMbored waterdelivery tunnels as examples. The paper can provide reference for similar projects in the future.
