Abstract:

The crosssection optimization and equipment selection for No. 3 and No. 4 inclined shafts of Muzhailing tunnel are presented. In the end, the mode of main inclined shaft and assistant inclined shaft with small crosssections is adopted. Discussion is also made on the selection of the construction equipment for the inclined shafts with track transportation system. The paper can be served as reference for similar projects in the future.
