Abstract:

Malfunction occurs to the hydraulic system of the cutterhead drive of a shield machine manufactured by Herrenknecht AG during the construction of Shenzhen Metro. It is concluded after analysis that the pollution of the hydraulic oil has resulted in the malfunction. The polluted hydraulic system is treated and the normal operation of the shield machine is recovered. The treatment method for the polluted hydraulic system is presented in the paper.
