Abstract:
Accidents often occur during the construction of highway tunnels constructed by mining method. Taking Jiaozhou Bay Undersea Tunnel in Qingdao as an example, the author presents the characteristics and application of 3D laser scanner. The successful monitoring guarantees the safety of the tunnel construction and proves that the technology would replace of the conventional monitoring mode and become the most popular monitoring method.
