Abstract:

The mode of producing flame retardant asphalt mixture with FRMAXTM flame retardant agent is studied; the production technology, working mechanisms and technical features of the production mode are discussed. The tests on the flame resistance of FRMAXTM flame retardant agent and the pavement performance of the flame retardant asphalt mixture and the examples of the application of the flame retardant asphalt mixture in tunnel pavement works demonstrate that the production mode is reliable in technology, superior in construction process and practical in promotion.
