Abstract:
The construction of the largespan section of Xiangjiang river crossing tunnel on Yingpan Road in Changsha has such difficulties as rocksoil interfaces, collapse of slate when water is encountered, poor stability and shallow cover. Advance grouting technology is adopted to consolidate the tunnel. The consolidation efficiency is ensured by controlling the grouting process and checking the grouting efficiency. Analysis is made on the water sealing grouting and compressibility reducing or homogenizing grouting in fullyintensely weathered slate or sandy cobble layers. In the end, the safety of the tunnel excavation is guaranteed.
