Design and Practice of Comprehensive Lightning Prevention
of Tunnel Monitoring System

Abstract:

In order to prevent the tunnel monitoring system from lightning accidents and to ensure the safety of the equipment and the workers, effective technologies, such as direct shock lightning prevention technology, lightning reaction technology and lightning shock prevention technology, potential connection technology, shielding technology and rational wiring technology, are adopted. The key points in the selection of lightning prevention equipment are provided on basis of related standards and requirements. The details of the design of lightning prevention of tunnel monitoring system are presented. The practice shows that the design could be popularized in similar projects.
