Abstract:

Baisha inclined shaft of Xuefengshan tunnel on XiangtangPutian railway is designed to provide service for 4 tunneling faces at the same time. Countermeasures for such difficulties as communication, construction ventilation, antislope drainage, transportation and control of risk in bad geological conditions are analyzed, with the construction of Baisha inclined shaft as an example. Conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) The management efficiency is improved and the emergency response is quickened by using mobile communication technology; 2) The new type of ventilation ducts and forcein ventilation mode with dedicated ventilation fan and duct system for each tunneling face adopted are simple, convenient, reliable and efficient, which results in good ventilation effect; 3) The possibility of flooding is effectively avoided by setting up mobile water sumps and mobile pump stations at the working faces in antislope sections; 4) Successful transportation is guaranteed in the inclined shaft by using technologies of antislipping mounds, acoustic and light warning devices, speed limiting and separation between pedestrians and vehicles; 5) The construction risks under bad geological conditions are well controlled by means of risk reassessment, risk dynamic management and risk information revealing.
