Deformation Mechanisms and Classification of Soft Rock Mass of Tunnels in High Ground Stress Zones: Case Study on Tunnels onLanzhouChongqing Railway

Abstract:

Deformation (mainly caused by geology conditions) control factors are summarized, deformation mechanism of soft rock is discussed, and soft rocks in high ground stress zones are classified, with the large deformation characteristics of soft rock tunnel in high ground stress zones on LanzhouChongqing railway as an example, so as to objectively estimate the design and surrounding rock classification of tunnels in high ground stress geology conditions.
