Abstract:
Crossing F1 fault, F2 fault and F3 fault, Baiyun tunnel has extremely complex geological conditions. Mud/water bursting occurs when the tunnel excavation reaches D3K334+733, which has great impact on the construction safety and construction progress. Transverse grouting and transverse pipe roof for the mud/water bursting tunnel section are executed from inside the bypass gallery and fullface curtain grouting and large pipe roof are executed from inside the main tunnel. In such way, successful watersealing grouting and consolidation are made for the mud/water bursting tunnel section. In the end, the excavation crosses the mud/water bursting section safely.
