Abstract:

The testbed of the shield control system is rebuilt and the PLC control system is redesigned, so as to develop largediameter slurry shields by ourselves. The hardware configuration of the testbed is presented in detail, the optimized control program is analyzed, and the communication between Schneider PLC and the frequency converter and that between Schneider PLC and distributed I/O are set up by means of Profibusmastering mode. The design and realization of the frequencyconverting drive system the cutterhead, the thrust system and the slurry supply system are studied with emphasis. The test demonstrates that the control system is reliable and efficient.
