Abstract: The key construction technologies for the connecting between the new structure and the operating Metro station, including the technology for the temporary reinforcement and protection of the operating Metro station, the technology for the stepbystep cutting of the existing structure and the technology for the connecting between the new structure and the existing structure are discussed in detail, with the connecting between Laojie interchange station and the operating Metro station on line 3 of Shenzhen Metro as an example. A kind of static cutting technology, including diamond wire saw technology and diamond hydraulic drill technology, is proposed for the project, which overcomes such difficulties as the complex construction environment, the high technology requirement and the high risks. In the end, the connecting between the new structure and the operating Metro station is executed with high safety and high efficiency.
