Abstract: TBM tunnelling is one of the most popular methods in the excavation of railway tunnels at urban areas. Due to the large load of TBM, the structure stability of the tunnels and Metro stations would be affected a lot. The monitoring opinions of TBM crossing the Metro stations are presented and the deformation characteristics and influencing factors of tunnels and Metro structure when TBM crossing the stations are studied, with the monitoring practice on Dalongshan station and Ranjiaba station of the first phase on No. 6 line of Chongqing railway transit as an example. In the end, the safety risk of TBM crossing the station is lowered and the structure stability is guaranteed. The paper can provide reference for deformation monitoring of the similar projects in the future.
