Abstract:
There are many determining factors and uncertain boundary conditions in the design of a shield docking plan in a long tunnel construction. In this paper, quantitative analysis is made on the shield docking plan for the construction of the Shiziyang tunnel of the GuangzhouShenzhenHongkong passenger railway, by calculating the limit values of the object functions on the basis of fuzzy mathematics’ membership function. Three shield docking plans, i.e., the mechanical docking plan, the directboring docking plan and the groundconsolidation docking plan, are compared in terms of equipment requirement, ground consolidation requirement, safety, quality and economic efficiency. The advantages of the directboring docking plan, which was adopted in the construction of the tunnel, are analyzed.
