Abstract:

Ma’anliang tunnel goes through a highlypermeable, poorlycemented and hydraulicallyconnected sandygravel stratum under shallow cover. Soletanche grouting technology, including constrainingdiverging grouting, mixing of sulphoaluminate singlecomponent grout and cementsodium silicate twocomponent grout, different grouting sequence for contour holes and center holes and sectionbysection grouting, is tested and applied, so as to ensure the successful tunneling through the mentioned stratum. The advance horizontal probe drilling and the core samples show that the Soletanche grouting implemented has improved the integrity, stability and uniformity of the stratum effectively.
