Analysis on Complicated Deep Metro Foundation Pit Supported by Ring Plate Substructures: Case Study on Wangjiadun Center Station on Line 3 of Wuhan Metro

Abstract:

Ring plate substructures have been used as the bracing of the deep foundation pit of Wangjiadun Center Station on Line 3 of Wuhan Metro. In the paper, 3D load structure model is established and analysis is made on the deep Metro foundation pit supported by ring plate substructures, and the measured data are compared with the simulation results. The engineering practice shows that the ring plate support system can provide high support rigidity and the construction of the deep foundation pit can be completed safely, efficiently and environmentfriendly.
