Abstract:

In this paper, comparison and contrast is made between Code for Design of Metro (GB 50157—2013) (the current version) and Code for Design of Metro (GB 50157—2003) (the previous version). The study results show that the current version is superior to the previous version in terms of general plan layout, fireprevention zone division and safety evacuation. However, the fireprevention zone division and safety evacuation in the equipment management area still need to be further improved.
