Abstract:

TaiYan running tunnel of Line 3 of Qingdao Metro runs underneath Emei’er hospital, which is very sensitive to the deformation caused by the tunneling. Countermeasures such as pipe roof, forepoling, Soletanche tracing grouting and local curtain grouting are taken according to the surrounding rock conditions. Conclusions drawn are as follows: 1) Countermeasures are taken according to the specific conditions of the surrounding rock at different kilometerages and good deformation control effect and good cost efficiency have been achieved; 2) Appropriate construction methods and appropriate construction process are adopted according to the monitoring data and the settlement has been brought under effective control; 3) Where countermeasures cannot be taken from the ground surface due to the constrained surrounding environment conditions, countermeasures are taken from inside the running tunnel and the settlement of the surface buildings has been brought under effective control.
