Analysis on Adaptability of Cutterhead of a  7 m Shield in Composite Ground:Case Study on Running Tunnel from Chegongmiao Station to Hongshuwan Station on Line 11 of Shenzhen Rail Transit System

Abstract:

The adaptability of the shield cutterhead to the ground to be excavated is very important for the successful boring of the shield machine. The running tunnel from Chegongmiao Station to Hongshuwan Station on Line 11 of Shenzhen rail transit system is bored by a CET6950 shield machine. In the paper, the adaptability of the cutterhead of the shield machine to the ground is analyzed. Conclusion is drawn that the cutterhead of the shield machine is well adaptable to the composite ground of the project. 
