Abstract

Abstract:

In this paper, experiences and problems of SIR3000 ground penetrating radar used in detection of concrete lining quality of railway tunnel are presented. The causes of the problems are analyzed in terms of detection of hollow behind lining, detection of steel bar, steel arch shelf, detection of thickness of lining, and detection of thickness of invert. Some advices and technologies to improve the detection precision of ground penetrating radar are proposed.
