Abstract:

The Portland cement is replaced by fly ash as much as possible in cementing material of shotcrete so as to develop a kind of environmental protection and energy saving shotcrete. The influence of fly ash content on durability of shotcrete is studied. Some conclusions are drawn as follows: 1) The fly ash has a significant influence on early compressive strength of shotcrete, but has little influence on its late compressive strength. 2) The content of fly ash of less than 20% in cementing material can guarantee the basic mechanical properties of shotcrete, improve the durability of shotcrete and reduce the construction cost. 3) The electric flux which can reflect the compactness of the shotcretre comprehensively can be a assessment index of durability of shotcrete.
