Experimental Study of Mechanical Property of PVC Anticorrosion and Waterproof Inner Lining of a Deep Shield Draining Tunnel

Abstract:

A new type of polyvinyl chloride(PVC) anticorrosion and waterproof inner lining of a deep shield draining tunnel in Guangzhou is introduced. It is very important to study the mechanical properies of PVC lining when segment deformation and dislocation occur. The reliability of connection of keys between PVC lining and concrete segment is studied by pullout test; and the mechanical property and deformation capacity of PVC lining and weld seam are studied by longitudinal joint bending test and circumferential joint shear test when segment deformation and dislocation occur. The test results show that the PVC anticorrosion and waterproof inner lining is reliable and applicable.
