Research on Primary Support Load Bearing Ratio of Deep Tunnels in Softweak Rock

Abstract:

The surrounding rock load bearing ratio under 3 kinds of support method, i.e. grouting reinforcement ring, shotcreting and shapedsteel, are analyzed by finite difference numerical calculation software, taking Baoxing Hydropower Station water diversion tunnel for example. Three support schemes are designed and the load bearing ratios of every support structure are obtained. The study results show that: 1) The shapedsteel support, plays support strengthening timely effect, can control surrounding rock deformation effectively. 2) The shotcrete becomes main load bearing structure after reaches a certain strength, and the surface of shotcrete bears more releasing loads followed by grouting reinforcement ring. The load bearing ratio of shapedsteel support, grouting reinforcement ring and shotcrete is 1∶1.25∶1.6 as showed in calculation results.
