Design and Study of Online Automatic Monitoring System for Shield Vibration

Abstract:

In order to predict the potential failures of the key components and improve the reliability of shield operation, an online automatic monitoring system for shield vibration is developed and designed based on remanufacturing of Herrenknecht S261 EPB shield. Firstly, the vibration data of the shield equipments such as the main bearing, the main drives and the reducers are analyzed by the KinetisM processor of the ARM/CortexM0+ series, and then transmitted to the data concentrator; and then the online monitoring system is designed by combining the SCADA software with the MySQL database technology. The system can provide data support for the failure warning of the shield equipments, and guide the maintenance of shield equipment.
